Community Safety Partnership Bureau

LAPD CSPB
Established in 2011, the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) represents a relationship-based policing model that has proven effective in building public trust and reducing crime. Considered a trust-generating, relationship-based policing strategy, it offers opportunities to heal old wounds and build new relationships while enabling community members and officers to move beyond long-standing conflicts and secure safety in historically dangerous neighborhoods.
The new Community Safety Partnership (CSP) Bureau is more than just a pivotal step forward in creating safe & healthy communities for LA. It is the evolution of community-driven policing & a commitment to focus on what matters most: the relationships we build with those we serve.
