B2G March Before their Community

At 9 am Monday morning, the B to G program gathered at Markham Middle School. They started to march down Compton Ave, toward the Council District 15 Conference Room where Watts Gang Task Force Meetings are held. As they marched, Officer Linton would yell “Who are we?” and their joint response would be “B to G”! Their marching and chanting filled the street and people gathered to watch them. As they marched into the Watts Gang Task Force meeting, they made a grand entrance and demanded everyone's attention. B to G’s informed the audience on their 5 Principles, Honor, Unity, Self-Control, Patience and Respect. There was also one brave boy that shared his story of gang violence with the meeting. Their presentation left a lasting impression on the audience.
